Solaris met and exceeded our expectations. The sensory gym had so many different options for play and we loved seeing him try new things each week. The therapists were thoroughly experienced in working with toddlers and were so kind to our little one.
After a year of intensive speech and occupational therapy, my 3 year old daughter was showing no signs of improvement in her Sensory Processing Disorder symptoms. I was told no one knew why she was showing speech and motor delays, and that it simply happened with some children. I decided to start researching on my own, and was lucky enough to discover Yulene, whom I often refer to as my daughter’s “angel”. Integrating an array of different modalities of treatment, Yulene gave me my daughter back: I was able to hug her and kiss her, and form a bond with my child for the first time since she was born (before, she wouldn’t allow me to touch her or kiss her), her attention span improved greatly, the several daily terrible tantrums disappeared almost completely. For the first time she showed interest in playing with other kids. She was first able to swing and climb the structures at the playground showing huge improvement in her coordination skills. Yulene is truly a blessing for our family, and is very devoted and invested in our child’s development, and her hands can work magic:-). Our daughter is now ready to join Kindergarten, enjoys going to school and playing with friends, has a loving relationship with her parents and her sister, and is spending lots of time drawing, which is now her biggest hobby. I credit Yulene for all these wonderful things, and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family with a child in need of therapy.
At the age of 3 my daughter had developed a clothing issue. She became picky wanted clothes to fit her a certain way or was sensative to the material. I thought it was a stage but she never grew out of it. She kept getting worse to the point she wanted to wear the same thing everyday. By 1st grade I notice it was affecting school. Getting dress every morning was a hassle and she got behind unable to concentrate and had anxiety due to her clothing problems. I seeked Drs. Help with no answers they were quickly to refer her to phychiatrist wanting her on medication which I was against. I took matters into my own hands and research her symptoms she match sensory process disorder there is were I found Yulene. She started seeing my daughter in 2008. Yulene has helped my daughter in so many ways. Her experience and knowledge is amazing she cares so much for her patients. My daughter enjoyed going and I saw progress everyday. Yulene changed my daughter life I am forever grateful. Now my daughter is 13 she is calm, exceeding in middle school and has many friends. She has a closet full of trendy new clothes that she enjoys wearing and they don’t bother her not one bit . I would say the best of it all is that my daughter loves herself. I never thought I would see her like this. I would definitely recommend Yulene and her staff for therapy. Thank you so much Yulene for changing my daughter’s life,
