About Ashley Simmons

My name is Ash. I am a father to the cutest almost eighteen-month-old boy, Asher. My wife Jacey and I will be expecting the newest addition to our family, our daughter, Stirling Monroe in October 2023. 

I graduated as a COTA in 2016.  I was recently DX with high-functioning ASD and Moderate ADHD, which lends me a rather personal perspective of what it is like growing up with a learning disability/ impairment. I honestly ended up falling into the profession of OT, after joining the military. My brother talked me into shadowing an OTR, after watching her work what seemed to be miracles. I decided to give it the “college try”. As it turns out, I’m relatively good at it. I’m no miracle worker, but I give it my absolute best and make sure the children I work with have as much fun as possible.
